The 4D Vision Gym program of Optometric Vision Therapy is a highly effective non-surgical treatment therapy that retrains the eyes and brain to correct specific visual challenges faced by children and adults.

Led by leading Behavioral Optometrist Dr. Juanita D. Collier, MS, OD. FCOVD and her team of expert vision coaches, 4D Vision Gym’s Optometric Vision Therapy program has successfully treated countless patients experiencing common visual problems such as lazy eye, crossed eyes, blurred and double vision, convergence insufficiency; vision-related reading and learning disabilities; athletic-performance issues ranging from poor depth perception to slow eye-hand coordination; as well as concussion-related visual field loss, double vision, visual balance disorders and other chronic issues resulting from traumatic brain injury.

Many patients who have been told, “it’s too late,” or “you’ll have to learn to live with it” have benefited greatly from the 4D Program.

What is involved in a Optometric Vision Therapy program?

This program of care is –a progressive program of vision “exercises” or procedures;

  • performed under doctor supervision;
  • individualized to fit the visual needs of each patient;
  • generally conducted in-office, in once or twice weekly sessions of 30 minutes to an hour;
  • usually supplemented with procedures done at home between office visits (“home reinforcement” or “homework”);
  • depending on the case, the procedures are prescribed to:
  • help patients develop or improve fundamental visual skills and abilities;
  • improve visual comfort, ease, and efficiency;
